Barlor Removals is a small family owned business that was started way back in 1993. It was started by two ladies (Barbara & Lorraine). Hence the name Barlor. It is now fully owned by myself (Stephen Strydom) who is Lorraine’s son in law

Since the start we have done over 15 000 moves.

We operate from our storage facility/warehouse in Capricorn Park, Muizenberg. We also have an office in Kommetjie.

We have 6 long serving, very experienced, friendly staff. Some of them have been with us since the start.

We have a large, closed 6 tonne truck that can comfortably fit the contents of a two or three bedroomed home. We also have a smaller vehicle & trailer for smaller moves.

Moving can be a very stressful experience for most people so our main objective from the beginning was to give a very personal, stress free moving experience. Once I receive an enquiry, I will come out to your house to meet you and to do an assessment of the scope of the job. I will look at the specific logistics, requirements and circumstances of the move.

Based on my visit, I will quote and upon acceptance, will then facilitate whatever is required to get the job done as smoothly & stress free as possible.
